European Classic Car Meet 2018
The 2018 European Classic Car Meet in Calgary’s beautiful Stanley Park was a sunbaked event like no other. Presented by the Vintage Sports Car Club of Calgary, this event brought the very best Alberta metal—Germans, Italians, and the Brits of course, on one big beautiful grassy field.
With a collection of well over 300 European cars and bikes, the show was one of our favourites to date. There were rows of MGs, VWs, Audis, BMWs, Ferarris, Mercs, and Porsches. And we won't forget the crazy Minis, racy Triumphs, rare Lancias, a couple of Panteras, and two-wheeled rides spanning almost 90 years back!
We can't forget to make special mention of the Euroyeg group that screamed down the QE2 under the early hours of dawn from Edmonton. You must view these creations. They have some of the lowest VWs on the planet! Also met the great folks from Tunerworks Performance Calgary and some of the incredible rides they brought along, including a Japanese built RWB 911, a stunning E36 M3, and an over-the-top 600 WHP 996.
